More Christmas Images!

Santa's little helper! Well, as long as I'm staying up until 3 AM to finish up all of these pictures, I thought I might as well post a few more! I have trouble choosing, so I just grabbed a bunch!

Little Allie here had on one of the best Christmas Get-Up's, so of course I had to post a few!! She cracked me up the way she held onto those 2 candy cane's during the whole shoot!

What a little ham!!

Sophia wanted to ride the horse! I tried to dress him up a little bit, but his crown kept falling off!

Brittany and Tiffany came in for some sisterly pictures!!

This is my niece and nephew Ryan and Mallory, and Muffin of course, who was a perfect little doggy model!!

I couldn't resist lots of these....

Love the collar Muffin!!

Ask mom and dad here how fun it was trying to get a good shot??????? :)

Well if he won't smile for me, then I'll just shoot him eating a candy cane!

He didn't like the hat either!

Awww, he liked the bear......

This little angel came up with this pose all on her own!

Ohhh, taking pictures is soooo exhausting!

Is this newborn actually smiling and winking at me???????? How did I get so lucky?

Back to sleep.......zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...........

My good friends Candice, Mark and Aleaha........

Merry Christmas, and can I go to bed yet?

~Christmas Special~ 2008

I want to thank everyone for coming out on not-such-a-nice-day Saturday to attend my Christmas Holiday Special! It pretty much snowed non-stop all day, and I was worried about cancellations, but just about everybody made it! This was my best turnout ever, so again, THANK YOU so much to everyone! Here are a few of my personal favorite shots from Saturday, I've spend most of today and last night editing over 1300 shots that I somehow managed to take! Leave it to me, I never know when to quit shooting! I've just finished editing the rest, but here are a few from among the one's I have done!

This is Emily, she is actually my new second cousin!

We got some great smiles out of her!

This is Brooke and Bri, I love this background in black and white!

But I also loved the color of Bri's dress!

I'm a huge fan, if you can't tell, of the Old Fashioned Look! Hey, you can get an image in regular color any 'ole time! I love the special effects!

Sometimes my favorite pictures are the not-so-smiley ones. Love the hat, and those big brown eyes!

There's a great smile!

This picture just makes me laugh!

Parker liked the teddy bear!

Not so smiley here, but there's something about this image that I love, maybe the sheer look of "what is this lady doing to me look"???????

I'll be posting some more as soon as I finish them up!

Thanks again for coming out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

~Travis~

Now that I don't have weddings to post every week, I can spend a little more time posting some studio stuff! This is little Travis, about 4 -5 months old. Not quite sitting up fully yet, but he sure tried hard! His mom and dad were one of my wedding couples from last August and I can't believe it's been a year and a half already! (Here I am still working on weddings from THIS August, yikes!)

Check out those big blue eyes!

Don't put that ring in your mouth you little bugger! (That's the first thing he tried to do!)

Baby Santa?

Oh, we have a Michigan fan here, hmmm, I went to State! Go GREEN!

Those toes sure were tasty!

I love this silly grin!

I think that bear is bigger than you buddy!

Congratulations Jenna and Perry on your new addition!

Welcome Little Nolan!!

Welcome to the world little Nolan, who was born on November 5th! I have been taking pictures of his big brother Cole since before he also was even born! Congratulations Jenn and Nick on your new addition!

The best gifts come in the smallest packages!!

How does Anne Geddes do it? This little bugger would hold still for a second!

Cole is a proud big brother!!

Givin' brother a little hug.........

I look forward to lots more pictures with Cole and Nolan as they grow!!

Stacy & Justin Richardson ~ 11.22.08 ~

First of all, Happy Thanksgiving everybody, and Congratulations to Stacy and Justin who were married last week on the 22nd! I got a little sidetracked with the holidays and didn't get to my blogging until now, sorry about that! Well I definitely finished off my 2008 Wedding season with a bang! Stacy and Justin had a beautiful November day for a wedding, and although it was cold, it was also Sunny out, and I convinced them to do most of their pictures outdoors with the pretty snow and sunlight rather than go downtown, which was out of the way anyway.

Justin's parents had an awesome drive on their property which made for pretty snowy pictures. Okay, so we were just a little cold, especially the girls in their heels and strapless dresses, but hey at least Stacy had a little fur!! Even in their coldness, I must say the girls were MUCH more behaved than the "gentlemen" of the wedding party, but they sure were fun!

After the ceremony, we were on our way to doing pictures at the Richardson house, and I was following the limo, with my assistant following me. Suddenly certain members of the wedding party, (they were some of the menfolk of course), decided to take out the sunroof of the limo and parade themselves shamelessly atop the roof . As fun as this looked, it didn't end up going over very well, when as they were trying to put the sunroof back in, it suddenly came hurdling through the air directly at my vehicle! Fortunately, it hit the pavement just prior to hitting me, and shattered into a million pieces. I did have to make quite a swerve to avoid it, not to mention all the glass, and everyone behind me also had to swerve, but hey, we all made it out okay! Everyone except the sunroof of course!

Despite all the drama, we had a great time taking pictures, and trying to get the guys to behave and actually smile for a good shot without a beer in their hand! You may see a few in the following pictures. Normally I don't allow beer cans in my shots, but it was a little too much effort in this case to make them discard them, especially after all the craziness!

The following are a few preview shots from throughout the day, I've been leaning toward the candid and creative one's lately!

We stopped at the bowling alley for a little fun on the way to the reception...

Here we have some "bodies" through the sunroof, Hmmm, can you see some trouble brewing?

Justin was my "reluctant to take pictures" groom, but he did it anyway!

Stacy, on the other hand, loved taking pictures, and was a great model...

The church was St. Therese in Wayland....this was my second wedding shot there, I didn't even realize I had shot a wedding there a couple of years ago until I walked in and recognized the stained glass windows.......

Just married!

Just after the ceremony......

Justin's little boy passing out programs! He had the cutest crooked little smile coming down the aisle!

Pinning on lots of corsages......

Stacy and her mom.......

Love the background snow!!

Gotta love window light, couldn't resist these.......

Getting the dress on......

All of Stacy's details were pink, even her shoes and purse!!

This bridesmaid tried to "save me" multiple times from the delinquent groomsmen!!!!

Justin in his cool brown suit.......Love the pink accents!

The ceremony.......

First dance.....Glass in hand..........

I must say, Trouble here, with a capital"T"!!

What an adorable cake!!

One of my assitant's angled shots, I love these crazy angles!!

Hamming it up on the altar!!

This little cutey looks just like her mama!

Oh my gosh look at that hat and those blue eyes!!

Love these shoes.......

Yeah, you two, TROUBLE!

I only wish it wasn't quite so cold, I would have loved to spend a little more time out here!

The fingers were like icecicles, then again so were mine!!

Oh yeah, not listening!

And of course, here are the girls doing exactly what I asked them to!!

Oh my gosh, everyone is doing great here!

You have no idea what I had to endure to do this shot........????????

Loving the pink flowers.....

They didn't exactly calm down at the reception?????? I had to post a few of these, we were all having way too muchfun, I was having fun just watching!

Beer Cans!!!!!????????

The kids enjoyed their limo ride, fortunately they weren't in there when we lost the sunroof!

Mom Sandwich??

Back to some serious ceremony pictures.......Very nice.

One of my favorite cake shots.....

Wow, that's it for now! Thanks for a crazy, yet insanely fun wedding day! Best wishes to you both, and thanks for ending my wedding season 2008 with a huge bang, or should I say crash? !!!:)
