Adam and Amanda, the newly married Mr. and Mrs. Wohlfert, married at the gorgeous St. Alphonsus, in Grand Rapids, last Saturday October 25th. It was a rainy weekend, but we were so lucky to have some breaks in the rain where we were able to go outside and get some great shots. Mandie and Adam met at John Ball Zoo, so of course we had to go there and get some pictures with the statue of John Ball himself. It actually started raining again just after we got there, as you can see the girls below using their stohls to cover their hair, which I actually thought was really cute! Other than a little rain and a little chill, the day went perfect and we finished it off at one of my own favorite places, the Wave Room at Celebration Cinema as they celebrated throughout the night. Here is a preview of some highlights from Adam and Mandie's wedding day! 
Mandie's bouquet was simply incredible, but not surprising considering that Shelly Johnson designed it, my favorite florist from Shelly's Design's florist. It was absolutely beautiful and the perfect fall colors and complemented the girls dresses so well. 
I haven't been to St. Alphonsus in a few years, it was nice to photograph there again, it's a gorgeous chuch.

I love creative shots, but I also always do the formals as well.....including with the families.

The JW Marriott was perfect with the girls purple dresses, it also makes for a good back up plan for rain.....
