Jackie & Brian 9.13.08 Preview Finally!!

Yea!! I finally have Jackie and Brian's wedding preview up, after our rainy weekend over the weekend of the 13th. Jackie and Brian had an outdoor ceremony planned in mom's backyard, but due to the rainy September day we had, they had to fall back on plan B and had the ceremony instead at their reception place which of course was the Wave Room at Celebration Cinema!! What better way is there anyway on a rainy day than to spend it at the movie theatre?! It actually worked out great, and we spent the afternoon taking pictures at the JW Marriott downtown, along with several other wedding parties, as there aren't a whole lot of options on a rainy Saturday during wedding season! They have an awesome staircase with lots of gorgeous purple lights, some beautiful big windows which flood the room with natural light, and some crazy carpet!! Fortunately the carpet is avoidable for most shots(: Jackie and Brian didn't let the rain get to them a bit, and seemed to thoroughly enjoy their wedding day. Here is a small fraction of images from throughout their day!

Starting out at their reception, they actually did their first dance to the "Dirty Dancing" song, I've had the time of my life, and not only did they use that song, they actually DID the song with all of the moves just like Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey!! It was so fun, I've never actually seen that done before!

I love how Jackie's dress swings while she dances!!!!!

A shot of the maid of honor holding the bouquet and her own flowers during the ceremony...

This is our groom Brian, in a very seriously rare "serious" moment...

We did some interesting things upstairs with this couch and these funky paintings....I was having fun with it!!

Once Brian got onto the couch, it suddenly seemed much smaller.......

Some table decor...

Reciting their vows, which were written themselves.

Brian's were both funny and endearing....

I love Jackie's mom in the background here smiling....

They did a sand pouring rather than a unity candle, the colors create such a cool pattern....

More of their movie star dancing....

And the wedding party, not to be outdone, did their own special alligator dance.....this is always an amusing one to watch!

Who will catch that bouquet?

Brian's shakin' it.... you go Brian!

Ladies, I love those bright teal dresses!

Another modelesque bride, Jackie was more than willing to get dramatic for me!

Now they're both getting into it!!

Each table had a theme.....

Jackie's parents being announced.......

I love this kind of cheese......

Here's the whole group, a lovely small and easy to manage wedding party!! (with the exception of Brian I think (: )

Sometimes I just have to do a silly one.....

Gettin' dolled up.....

The limo arrives.....

Off in the rain we go.....

These chair bows went perfectly in the Wave room as they kind of matched the carpet!!

Here's the crazy carpet, but I love Brian and Jackie in this shot!!

They had the Wave Room looking just like the altar of a church! Here's the kiss.....and they're married!

Brian and Jackie even designed their own cake...love the colors.....

Here's how the Dirty Dancing song starts, remember the movie when Jennifer Grey kept laughing while they were practicing? (This is that move)...

The sand pouring....

Brian, I love this grin, it's so you!!

Brian kept his head turned until Jackie was in the "aisle", he wouldn't peek! I've never seen a groom do this before!

And this is him seeing Jackie for the first time as she's walking down the aisle....

Here comes the bride.....

Jackie's mom helping her get ready.......

Bride's and windows, my favorite combination....

Silhouettes are so awesome...

Brian and Jackie, Congratulations again! Your wedding day was perfect rain and all! Thank you for all the creative shots we were able to have fun with at the Marriott, hope you enjoy your preview!
