Kristin & Caleb Kamps ~9~12~08~

Kristin and Caleb Kamps ~ Newlyweds!! We had a bit of a rainy weekend last weekend both for my Friday and Saturday weddings, but we made the best of it anyway! Friday wasn't quite as rainy as Saturday, and we were out in the Grandville area trying to make the best of it! Caleb and Kristin wanted to go this old barn, which I was all for, and we decided not to let the rain deter us, so we packed up our umbrellas and tarps and went anyway. I'm so glad we went ahead with our plan, as those are some of my favorite images from the day, they are posted below randomly. Caleb and Kristin were married at Grandville Prostestant Reformed Church, which fortunately had one of those awesome overhangs over the parking lot, perfect for a rainy day! We ended up doing much of our wedding party pictures there! Kristin and Caleb, you were wonderful to work with, as was your family, enjoy your preview!

Kristin put on a green sash for the reception, I love bows!!

Caleb and the ladies....

Kristin has a great smile, I caught a lot of her candid laughing all day long!

The ceremony was beautiful, I love the white pillars with the bouquets and ferns...

Through the looking glass......

Yea!! Lovin' the candy bar at the reception (at the Bluff)!

A candid moment.......

Even the plow became a prop!

Some of the guys, I love this shot!

There's that smile again!

~The Groom~

An unposed moment capturing our bride...

Against the barn, we had to watch out for the poison ivy!!

I personally am a big fan of the "old fashioned" look!!

Getting the dress on.....

Seeing her groom for the first time that day.....Caleb you can turn around now!

Kristin's dress was adorable!

Can't forget all my favorite detail shots....

These are beautiful hanging on the pews....

Mom helping Kristin put her bracelet on....

A shot looking down at the cake, this was my assistant Adam's idea, cool shot!!

The head table, all dressed up....

Looks like he got her pretty good, I don't think she was expecting that!

I always try to capture some candid moments from the receiving line.....

The overhang also worked out well for the bubble pictures!!

These were absolutely adorable, everyone got there own little tree in a polkadot/or other pattern pot. I took mine home, just have to figure out where to plant it!

The guys did an excellent job.....

As well as the ladies.....

Watching the ladies do there stuff... and distracting them!!

I told the guys to "make like geese", is that a perfect formation or what??

I love the little bow at the bodice of Kristin's dress, I used it to hang her earrings from...

A candid moment of them seeing eachother for the first time..... I love these!

Who needs shoes?

Congratulations again, and thank you so much for having us capture your beautiful day, it was perfect rain and all!
