More from Cabo!

Here are a few more images from Patrick and Jade's destination wedding! The ceremony took place at 4:00, and Patrick and Jade chose not to see each other prior to the wedding. In Cabo, the sun sets at 6:00 sharp, so by the time we did the family and group pictures, we were left with less than an hour to hop the boat and head over to the edge of the peninsula where the rock formations were for all of Patrick and Jade's pictures together, as well as fitting in their Trash the Dress session! Let's just say we did a lot of running, literally!! I was beside myself with how many shots I wanted to fit it in such a small period of time, and I had everyone running back and forth from one side to the other! We finished up the night before the sun gave out on us, with Patrick and Jade in the water, which was incredible, and I got to "trash" my own dress as well, as the only way to get the shot I wanted was to lay in the water as well! I'm just bummed out that no one got a shot of me laying in the water looking ridiculous! Patrick, Jade and myself were soaked and then still ran to the other side of the beach at the last minute to capture this silhouette, ask Jade what it's like to run in a wet wedding dress!! Our boat almost left us behind as it had no lights, and needed to get back to shore, what an adventure!!!

These rock formations were completely incredible, and just where I wanted to go for pictures. I saw them on our sunset cruise the night before the wedding, and started asking if it would be possible to go there, and as it was, you could rent a boat to take you out there, so that's what we ended up doing for the pictures of just Jade and Patrick, and for the trash the dress session, I'm so glad we went over there, a photographers dream come true!!

These pictures were very tricky for me, as the waves kept rolling in, keep in mind I'm at the same level as the bride and groom with a very heavy lens on my camera. The locals kept running over to grab my camera as the waves came in and rolled over me! I was only able to get a few shots like this unfortunately!

I love the moon in the upper left corner on this one!

My favorite part of this shot is the wave that is coming up under Jade's hair! We tried to not let her hair get wet, as we had to go to the reception immediately following this session, but that wave got the bottom wet, as well as the lilly in her hair. It made it most of the day however!

My husband Scott actually got this shot with my other camera, good job hun!!

This is a partial view of our resort, Riu Sante Fe, I say partial because it was more like a community than a resort, and this is only one section! The resort was absolutely incredible, and more like palace living. There were at least 6 different pools, each with underwater bars, 5 or so different restaurants, and a huge buffet everyday. Let 's just say it was hard to come home to 39 degree weather!!!

Look for lots more later!!
